Well folks, Peter Webster's (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
half_whole_pw) mun has come up with a delightful piece of crack, encouraged my shameless contributions, and now we're taking it to the next step. AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION.
What am I talking about? As we know, Rory has been playing the NYC club circuit for a few years now with Breaker Street, and the band's just ready to hit the big time. Peter has turned out to be Rory's second biggest fan, right after his girlfriend Pippa Kerr (sand_andwater). If you've ever interacted with either of them, you may well have seen the band mentioned. So what do shameless fanbois do for their favorite bands?
They create fan sites.
Yep, we have a comm masquerading as a fansite for a fictional band. We really are that insane. *^_^* More info, pics and whatever will be added as Breaker Street Online grows. We have some lulz planned to drive Peter and anyone else connected with the site nuts, so feel free to rubberneck.
But here's where you guys really come in! We've left things wide open for anyone who wants to to post comments concerning the band. If you have a New York based muse who enjoys findng new music on the club scene, have him or her post a review of a gig or comment on the message boards. If they're not from NYC, have 'em stop by on a visit. Or if you just want to post as some random fangeek, go for anonymous comments! C'mon, you've been to fan boards; you know how scary things can get. ;) Ignore the posted rules, lord knows we will! We are encouraging, nay begging you to RUN AMOK.
